Last October, we had a terrific opportunity to work on the 18th Calgary Scouts Group’s unique building project. It seems their last cabin had been lost during a fire, and they were building a new one on the original location – a beautiful hillside, overlooking a small lake.
When their Scout Leader called us for assistance to install some roof support beams, we brought two of the Spydercrane URW295 mini-cranes for the job.
The Spydercranes worked perfectly amongst the existing trees and structures, and sloping landscape, which would have made it impossible to use any other type of picker truck or crane with out needing to clear more trees and level the slopes.
We’d like to send a big “thank-you” to the 18th Calgary Scouts Group for inviting us to enjoy some fun in the outdoors, and the opportunity to work with a great youth organization. We’re proud to be a part of a rebuilding project that will continue to provide enjoyment for generations of youth to come!
